Artist Depot 2025 is a year-long coaching program for individuals or groups aiming to work as artists and release their own music. Artist Depot offers professional coaching for those who want to actively advance their careers. The coaching takes place primarily in small groups, taking into account the individual needs and situations of the participants. The group meets 1-2 times a month, both remotely and in-person.

The Artist Depot requires the following from participants:
- Motivation and commitment to developing your career
- Time and effort to advance your career
- Financial resources to take the next steps in your career (e.g., producing a song)
- Initiative and an entrepreneurial attitude, as required by the industry

At the end of the course, you will:
- Have a clear picture of yourself as an artist
- Understand the current music business landscape in Finland
- Have a realistic view of the career path that suits you best
- Master the basics of vocal and performance techniques

- Have more confidence in your singing and performance abilities
- Master the necessary skills for marketing yourself
- Have your own marketing portfolio ready to conquer the music market
The coaching is free for participants, but the course may incur costs for the participants, such as travel and accommodation expenses. Additionally, any funds required to promote your career (e.g., producing a song) will be self-funded. The coaching program is funded by the Cluster Project, co-financed by the European Union. The project is supported by the City of Seinäjoki, the Kuortane Savings Bank Foundation, South-Eastern Finland University of Applied Sciences, and Rhythm Institute.
Application Instructions
Register on the Rytmiakatemia website. Once logged in, you can fill out the application form via the “Submit Application” button. The Artist Depot 2025 coaching group will select around 8-10 promising participants or groups based on applications. The application deadline is Sunday, December 15, 2024. Applicants will be contacted, and the selection will be announced via email by December 31, 2024.
Course Implementation and Schedule
The training will be held primarily remotely via the Rytmiakatemia platform, but the program includes 4-5 in-person meetings throughout the year at various locations in Finland.

Note: When you register for the coaching program, you commit to the provisional schedule (see schedule section). We expect all participants to be present on these dates. Please consider this when applying for the program. The program also includes separate one-on-one and/or group meetings, the schedules for which will be arranged individually.
Some in-person meeting locations will be confirmed once the group composition is finalized.
